CLAIM YOUR HEALING:
I have MANY friends (not a few) with Covid19. Our Jewish brethren hold back some of the Passover Afikoman (bread) keeping it in a special drawer and eat it throughout the year for healing when they are physically ill.
I want to encourage all my friends who are ill to take communion during this time. Go get some grape juice or wine and crackers or matzo bread. Hold the communion up and take it daily as a divine therapy and say “I hold the body and the blood against you… The death angel shall pass over me for God hath said “when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No plague will fall on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.” In the name of Jesus we claim the blessings of the blood covenant! Jehovah Rapha (Exodus 15:26) is Jesus THE LORD THAT HEALS AND MENDS! I claim the blessing of the covenant of deliverance and healing!
In Jesus’ Mighty Name I receive strength…. and health… and healing… and peace… and wellbeing for every part of my body, soul and spirit!
THE GREATER WALK OF LOVE:
(Believer? or Disciple? COME TO JESUS AND DIE THAT YOU MAY LIVE)
John 13:35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love among one another.”
In a time when families are divided and church members fighting and our nation divided – I want to hold up the primary teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ and that is his commandment of Love. Jesus said “a NEW commandment give I unto you that you love one another as I have loved you!”
Jesus was speaking this word to mostly Jews (at the time) but some had different views and were from different branches of the Hebrew culture with HORRIBLE governmental oppression and dictatorial dominion. In spite of all that Jesus taught his disciples to EVEN “love” your enemies. Only a true disciple of Jesus can do this. A church member cannot do this, a “good” person cannot do this without the LOVE OF GOD on the inside dominating them. Are you truly a disciple of Jesus? If yes is the answer then this is his most basic teaching.
#1) LOVE the Lord with ALL your heart, soul, mind and strength and
#2) LOVE your neighbor as yourself.
A savior who can say “father forgive them for they know not what they do” of those who cussed him, spit on him, pulled out his beard, beat him with 39 stripes, hit his face multiple times, stuck thorns on his head, pierced his side with a sword, nailed him to a cross and left him to die….. This savior should be emulated, followed and obeyed. All Jesus is asking of us is DO THE SAME THING THAT I HAVE TAUGHT YOU TO DO!
Do you know when Jesus was before Pilate he didn’t even fight back or argue or defend himself.
We have “few” disciples today – Many confess to be a “believer” may may I remind you, the devil also believes and trembles but are you following? A disciple is willing to die as the master did, to follow his example. I recommend some more dying going on by you if you are truly his disciple! Do not cut yourself off from your own families because they have a different opinion politically than you. Do not hate your enemies (if you have made someone an enemy) Love your enemy as commanded.
HERE ARE A FEW SCRIPTURES FOR US TO LOOK AT AND THINK ABOUT:
1 Corinthians 13:1 If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate.
1 Corinthians 13:2 If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing.
1 Corinthians 13:3 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.
1 Corinthians 13:4 Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have. Love doesn’t strut, Doesn’t have a swelled head,
1 Corinthians 13:5 Doesn’t force itself on others, Isn’t always “me first,” Doesn’t fly off the handle, Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
1 Corinthians 13:6 Doesn’t revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
1 Corinthians 13:7 Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end.
1 Corinthians 13:8 Love never dies.
Proverbs 10:12 Hatred starts fights, but love pulls a quilt over the bickering.
1 Peter 4:8 Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything.
Luke 6:35 “I tell you, love your enemies. Help and give without expecting a return. You’ll never–I promise–regret it. Live out this God-created identity the way our Father lives toward us, generously and graciously, even when we’re at our worst.
Romans 14:19 So let’s agree to use all our energy in getting along with each other. Help others with encouraging words;
Zechariah 4:10 Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work….
Philippians 1:6 6 And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished
Isiah 64:8 But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.
A dear friend of mine often quotes to me “I’m just an old chunk of coal but I’m gonna be a diamond someday”.
God changes caterpillars into butterflies, sand into pearls and coal into diamonds using time and pressure. He’s working on me and you too if we will stay in place.
During these times of pressure I have the promise that God is working on me! I’ve yielded myself to the potter’s wheel, I’ve stayed in the cocoon of his word, I’ve been under pressure and I’m becoming
What if the coal pulls itself out of the earth away from the pressure? You got it, no diamond, just a coal ready to be burned up to keep someone warm. (which at least benefits someone) What if the sand get out of the oyster shell? Yep, no pearl… only one unnoticeable piece of sand. What if the caterpillar doesn’t cocoon? You got it…..stays a worm. What if the piece of clay won’t stay on the potter’s wheel? Well, it just stays a glob of clay and forfeits becoming a beautiful and artistic word of the master’s hand!
God has a process! To BECOME we must yield to the process. Get cocooned in God’s word. Scriptures says we become what we meditate on. We are “transformed by the renewing of our mind” (This Greek work for transformed is metamorphose) where we get metamorphosis. This is what occurs when the worm becomes a butterfly and the tadpole becomes a frog. As we mediate upon Jesus, his word and character, and surround ourselves with his promises and nature (which is Love) we BECOME more and more like him in our thinking, talking and behavior. It’s a transformation in the mind that effects every part of us! WE ARE MADE NEW in the cocoon!!
The potter and clay concept says “IF I’M PLIABLE I WILL BECOME” God will make us something beautiful, however we must cooperate. This Almighty Potter has given the clay a choice, we can get off the potter’s wheel. No matter how long it takes for us to become willing, the potter will wait… he may have to pour water on us to make us soft again so he can work but he will MAKE US and we will BECOME… when we get WILLING!
Gift it time:
Both the coal and sand take time to become what God has planned. Don’t be discouraged no matter how long it takes. Science says it takes one billion years for a diamond to form but only about 3 years for a pearl to form. I don’t think I have time to become a diamond unless God speeds up the process LOL!
The point it GOD IS MAKING SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL OUT OF YOU and me and these three qualities will help the process. Stay in the word, be willing and give it time!
Blessings everybody have a great day!
JUDGMENT & MERCY:
It never ceases to amaze me how so often we set ourselves up as judges! We are so very opinionated and yes we are always right! Let me reveal to you the sins of “others”, let me show you where “others” are wrong!
This type of behavior and spiritual pride brings a reciprocation of judgment back upon us, except when it gets back to us….it has grown in intensity because as we all know….seeds grow and so does judgment and bitterness! According to the words of Jesus where he tells us that we shall be judged with the measure that we judge others.
EACH AND EVERY SEPERATE TIME we pronounce our judgments upon others, that is circling back to us to bite us! We are kicking God off the throne (we think) and taking his job when we do this kind of behavior. When satan did that, he was kicked out of heaven!
Hosea 10:12 says if we sow in righteousness we’ll reap in mercy.
Jesus said Mercy triumphs over Judgement and in another passage, whoever shows mercy will be shown mercy…but from him who withholds mercy, no mercy will be given to him.
Dear God, Help me to GET OFF of your throne, move out of the way so you can regain Lordship in my life, get on my knees and worship you! Please forgive me and all my friends who have failed to be merciful. BLESSED ARE THE MERCIFUL, FOR THEY SHALL OBTAIN MERCY!
THE WORD OF THE LORD!
