So you wanna get started off right… Here is my suggestion.  Your group starts soon.  But you have all this “stuff” to use and don’t know what to do or how to use it.  We will be going over everything the first night of your group.  What I would suggest you do in the mean time is:
On the Restored Warriors Website, restoredwarriors.org under “Resources” choose “Restored Warriors App“.  Get this set up, it is the way that we will be communicating as a group.
  • Start doing your Daily Check In’s… Go to our website: restoredwarriors.org  across the top, click on “Member”.  Here you will see, “Personal Portal”, this is an area where all your information will be kept.  There choose “Daily Check In” look over the form.  Then start filling it out daily.  This is a way that you are able to reflect on your day and see where you should be going for the next day.  A diabetic tests their blood to see if it’s high or low.  We do a Check In to see if we need to do something different tomorrow, to keep us more near our Restoration and Recovery.  I suggest you do this at night, as a reflection of your day.
  • Next, start doing a 30 minute shut down at night.  Brush your teeth, go to the bathroom, get your drink of water, let the dog out… THEN, DON’T Climb in the sheets (come on your a guy, as soon as your head hits the pillow, you will be sawing logs)  spend 30 minutes, DEVICE FREE!  Pray, read, listen to music, meditate, …. ANYTHING to get your mind to shut down.  Our brain only works about 10% during the day, then 90% at night.  Shut it down before you go to sleep to avoid temptations and awake in a better mood, earlier, stronger and ready to take on the day.
  • Finally, I would suggest that you start doing the “Positive Confessions“, you will find the link in the Check In.  Do this within the first 30 minutes of waking up in the morning.  Read it OUT LOUD.  If you do, then your ears will hear it and your heart will feel it!
Should you have any additional questions, please let me know.  You can also set up an appointment to meet face to face/voice to voice depending on how you choose.
Welcome to your New Battleground
Daniel Glasco
Founder & Executive Director of Restored Warriors
I look forward to meeting you the first night of the meeting, if not before!

Our Mission

Restored Warriors exists to lead men into deeper discipleship and freedom from addictions by drawing them closer to God through His word and prayer. We believe true restoration comes from an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, guided by His truth and empowered by a life of prayer. In community, we journey together to break the chains of addiction, heal wounds, and grow in spiritual strength, becoming the warriors God created us to be.
