As the pastor of one of the most dynamic churches in America, Gary Brothers has watched thousands of individuals struggle with a lack of identity and and inability to find their destiny. In Burning Bushes, Pastor Brothers tells it straight. With biblical wisdom, practical insight, and great humor, he gives his readers the clear and concise keys to discovering personal destiny. Within these pages you will discover: Life s biggest certainty, that God has a design for your life. How God uses the burning bushes of life to pull our attention from dead-end streets up into His plans for us. That Moses response to his famous burning bush gives us the pattern for our response. How God uses our own discomfort and failures to blast us into new orbits of high adventure. When you are not, God is. When you cannot, God can.
About Gary Brothers
Pastor, Speaker, Mentor, Leader, Husband, Father, and now Grandfather…these are some of the words that describe Gary Brothers. His vision is to “go into every person’s world” with a clear, concise and compelling message of Jesus Christ and to see people of all ages and backgrounds fulfill their God given dreams.
In 1984 God gave Gary and Rose Brothers a promise from Isaiah 41:15
…Behold, I will make you into a new sharp threshing instrument…(KJV).
The promise was that God would use them like a harvesting machine to win many people to Jesus. Today, Gary and Rose are lead pastors of Cape First Church in Cape Girardeau, one of the largest and fastest growing churches in the Midwest with satellite campuses and many outreach ministries including “Discovering Life,” a weekly television program viewed in a five state region.
Gary travels extensively, nationally and internationally, as a motivational speaker and leadership strategist, ministering in conferences, crusades, and colleges around the world. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Rose, and together they are the founders of Vision of Hope International, a ministry dedicated to leadership development, church planting and humanitarian assistance. They have two daughters and two grandchildren.
